 Adjoining the pool area is a large thatched lapa where a hearty or healthy breakfast is served. The choice is yours. For guests who wish to indulge in the favourite South African pastime of braa-ing, a large Jetmaster braai and Weber is available together with a fully fitted kitchen with microwave, stove, fridge, freezer and equipped with crockery, cutlery, etc. A selection of music, reading material and board games are also available.

 Leave the stress of city life behind and come and relax in the serene and peaceful surroundings of the private, secluded village of Mhlatikop a few kilometres from the town of Malalane, Mpumalanga in the Wild Frontier – Home of the Big Five and sugar cane country!

The Malalane Gate of the world-renowned Kruger National Park is 2kms from our front door and for the golfing enthusiast, Malalane Golf Club and Leopard Creek Country Club the finest golf course in the country, is but a chip and a putt away

Malalane, a fast growing town in this delightful part of the country, has two large supermarkets and a variety of shops. There is also a selection of fast food and restaurants in the vicinity together with various service outlets.

The Swaziland border is 30 minutes drive and Mocambique 35 minutes. Nelspruit, White River and Barberton are less than 45 minutes away and Johannesburg four and half hours. The Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport is 30 minutes with regular flights to Johannesburg and Cape Town.

Accommodation

Choose from five comfortably furnished options:

The Elephant Cottage has twin beds in the one room and has a separate lounge where a third person or two children can be accommodated on a large double sleeper couch.

There is also a small kitchenette equipped with microwave, two-plate stove, sink and fridge for the self-catering option.

Next door is the en suite Leopard Cottage which sleeps two people.

Both have air-conditioning, television with 16 DSTV channels, a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, ceiling fan and mosquito net.

As an alternative, there is the Green Room, a charming twin-bedded room off the main house with ensuite shower, wc and basin. Situated next door is the Blue Room, also twin-bedded with access to a full private bathroom and separate shower. Central air-conditioning, tea and coffee trays and DSTV television, of course.

Sliding doors from all rooms open on to the sun deck of a sparkling salt-water swimming pool and the tranquil, sub-tropical garden has prolific bird life with shady trees.

The newly-completed, twin-bedded ensuite Buffalo Cottage is situated in the lush, shady garden with easy access to the swimming pool and lapa.
