- 6 adults stayed at The Shack guest house part of the Rio Vista complex. The guest house was clean, well equipped and comfortable overlooking the Kruger Park, however when we arrived we found 2 big boxer dogs roaming round the pool area. My husband went to see the Manager who was most put out when we requested he remove the dogs and clean the garden up, he said South Africans would welcome 2 dogs to guard them he even tried to blackmail us by saying they would have to be put down. His manner was very aggressive and intimidating but he did take the dogs away and the next day came and cleared their mess up - this was a day of our stay wasted. The jaquzzi outside never worked which was something we had been looking forward too also the pool needed a good clean before anyone dared swim. Our group decided that we should have some recompense for the jaquzzi and dog trauma we then came across the most disagreeable woman I have ever had the misfortune to meet instead of apologising she blamed us for not wanting to look after the dogs also proceeded to tell us how much had been spent on trying to mend the jacquzzi - a very bad end to a wonderful holiday.
