The remote and exclusive Lukimbi Safari Lodge allows guests a unique African safari experience, which can be tailored to suite each guest within the Kruger Natioanl park.

14 spacious suites combine luxury and modern African decor with private decks and river views. Our Giant Eagle Owl and King Cheetah suites each include a private pool and second bathroom.

The design of Lukimbi lodge features carved plaster panels showing intricate mystical creatures and African patterns. The main buildings are linked together with open wooden decks, making the most of the view, from the banks of the Lwakahle river.

Lukimbi Safari Lodge is situated within the Southern section of the Kruger National Park, on the Lwakahle River.

Lukimbi is a 32 bedded lodge, comprising 14 suites and 2 ultra luxury suites, each cottage has a very special bathroom and a stunning river view. The facilities available in each cottage will ensure absolute comfort: Telephone, a hairdryer, minibar, tea and coffee, and a laptop connection.

Conferencing, Business and leisure facilities include a fully equipped conference and business centre, Boma, well stocked bar and wine cellar, gymnasium, swimming pool and a Wedding Chapel, for the true romantics. The Wedding reception, flowers, cake and photographs can all be taken care of by the capable Lukimbi staff. The lodge can be reached by road, via Malelane Gate or by air to Malelane or Nelspruit airports, and in the near future, to Primkop International Airport.

Accommodation

All the cottages have a front-row seat for the rewarding river view, with magnificent trees along the curved riverbed. For the truly romantic, there is a beautiful chapel seating 40 people. Lukimbi staff can make all arrangements regarding the reception, including flowers, cake and photographs.

Directions

Directions from Johannesberg Take the N12 towards Witbank, there it connects with the N4 coming from Pretoria. Pass Nelspruit, then continue a further 59km to Malelane. The same road continues towards Maputo (Mozambique). 3km past Malelane, turn left towards the Kruger National Park Malelane Gate (3km). From here, please follow the signs from the Malelane Gate to Lukimbi.
